We are seeking an individual with a passion for leveraging advanced technologies to support our efforts in the crucial and impactful interface between the human and animal worlds.

Job Title: Humanitarian Aid Technology Specialist

Location: Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance the delivery of aid in support of animals and their welfare in crisis situations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate advanced tools and techniques that directly benefit both human and animal populations.
Contribute to the research and implementation of cutting-edge solutions for improving veterinary care and animal protection in challenging environments.
Offer technical guidance to field missions to ensure the seamless integration of technology into humanitarian aid operations.
Stay abreast of technological advancements relevant to both human and animal welfare, providing insights on their potential applications within our initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science, engineering, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated expertise in applying advanced technologies to address the needs of vulnerable populations, with particular attention to animal welfare.
Proven ability to work in multicultural environments and a strong commitment to humanitarian values.
Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical information to individuals from non-technical backgrounds.
Experience in project management and a track record of successful implementation of technology-based initiatives.
