Your Role:

As an Innovative Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge strategies to enhance our logistics and transportation operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative supply chain solutions to optimize transportation and logistics processes.
  • Identify and assess emerging technologies and trends in the field of supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field offices and partners on supply chain management.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and capacity-building initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of innovative supply chain practices and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
