Your Role:

As an Innovative Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge strategies to enhance our logistics and transportation operations. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify innovative solutions, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of food assistance to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of innovative supply chain solutions to optimize transportation and logistics processes.
Identify and assess emerging technologies and trends in the field of supply chain management.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement best practices.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance and support to field offices and partners on supply chain management.
Contribute to the development of training materials and capacity-building initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management).
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related fields.
Demonstrated knowledge of innovative supply chain practices and technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
