Grevenmacher Youth Foundation is seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Freight Operations Coordinator. This role plays a pivotal part in our organization, contributing directly to our mission of delivering excellence in goods management.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods from origin to final destination
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and accuracy
- Manage documentation, including customs clearance and transportation-related paperwork
- Communicate and collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations
- Analyze transportation costs and recommend cost-saving strategies
Your Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management or a related field
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using transportation management systems and software
