Position Available: Wildlife Engagement Specialist

Overview: As a Wildlife Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in creating and delivering engaging experiences related to the natural world, thereby fostering a deeper connection between our visitors and the wildlife of the Pohjois-Karjala region. You will work closely with our team to develop educational materials, interactive exhibits, and engaging events to promote an understanding of our local wildlife.

Responsibilities:

Develop and lead educational programs focused on local wildlife
Collaborate with the team to design and implement interactive exhibits
Organize and lead wildlife-themed events and outreach activities
Conduct research on the regional wildlife to enhance educational materials
Engage with visitors to provide insight and answer questions about local wildlife

Requirements:

Passion for wildlife and natural history
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience in developing educational programs or exhibits (preferred)
Knowledge of local wildlife and conservation efforts (preferred)
