Role Overview:

As a Festival Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in curating and coordinating our festival's film program. Your responsibilities will include sourcing compelling film entries, managing submissions, collaborating with filmmakers, and overseeing the selection process. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the enrichment of cultural understanding, social awareness, and global environmental consciousness through the platform of cinema.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the selection process for film entries, ensuring alignment with our festival's thematic focus on unity and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with filmmakers, distributors, and industry professionals to ensure a diverse and impactful film program.
  • Manage film submissions, reviewing content for artistic merit and relevance to our festival's environmental and social consciousness goals.
  • Facilitate panel discussions and forums related to environmental issues depicted in the selected films.
  • Work closely with festival partners and sponsors to promote environmental initiatives and sustainable practices within the film industry.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Environmental Studies, Cultural Studies, or related fields.
