Job Title: Community Recreation Coordinator

The Municipality of Albrandswaard is looking for an individual with a passion for fostering active and healthy lifestyles within our community. As the Community Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating a variety of community sports and recreational programs, as well as organizing engaging events that bring our residents together.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, plan, and oversee recreational activities for individuals and groups of varying ages and abilities.
Collaborate with local sports organizations and community groups to enhance recreational opportunities.
Manage facility reservations and ensure proper allocation of resources for recreational programs.
Promote and publicize recreational events and programs through various channels.
Assist in preparing and managing the departmental budget, ensuring resources are used effectively.
Engage with community members to understand their recreational needs and preferences.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Administration, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in organizing sports events, community programs, or recreational activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and community engagement.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate community events.
Proficiency in event planning and project management.
