The Delaware Department of Justice is seeking a Community Wellness Coordinator to join our dynamic and dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and coordinating community wellness initiatives throughout Delaware. Your primary focus will be on enhancing physical activity and overall health awareness within the community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement wellness programs that encourage physical activity and healthy living
- Collaborate with local organizations to promote community engagement in wellness initiatives
- Organize and oversee sports events, fitness workshops, and wellness seminars
- Educate and advocate for a healthy lifestyle through outreach and public speaking engagements
- Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of wellness programs and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Community Health, or related field
- Proven experience in community outreach and program coordination
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting wellness and physical fitness
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
