We are looking for a dynamic professional to fill the position of 'Community Financial Services Coordinator'. This role involves working closely with communities in Quebec to provide essential financial services and support. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with community leaders to provide financial literacy programs
- Assist in developing and implementing community financial empowerment initiatives
- Offer guidance on financial planning and budgeting
- Facilitate access to banking and financial resources for vulnerable community members
- Conduct outreach to ensure marginalized groups have access to financial services
- Track and report on the impact of financial services on community well-being
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement and financial education
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and financial practices in diverse communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Proficiency in French and English; additional languages considered an asset
